These Author Terms ("Author Terms") govern your use of the DigiHubz Platform as a seller of digital products. By opting to "Start Selling" and uploading content to the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Author Terms, in addition to our general Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, and Copyright Policy.
To become an Author on DigiHubz, you must have a registered account and accept these Author Terms. By applying to become an Author, you warrant that you meet all eligibility requirements as outlined in our Terms of Use. We reserve the right to approve or reject your application at our sole discretion.
As an Author, you are solely responsible for the content you upload, including all digital products, descriptions, images, and other materials. By uploading content, you provide the following guarantees (warranties) to us and to every buyer:
Ownership and Rights: You are the sole and exclusive owner of all intellectual property rights in the content, or you have obtained all necessary licenses, permissions, and consents to sell and distribute the content.
Originality: The content is your original work and does not infringe upon the copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights of any third party.
Functionality: The content is free from defects, viruses, or malicious code and functions as described in its listing.
Accuracy: All information you provide about your product, including descriptions, tags, and license terms, is accurate, complete, and not misleading.
No Prohibited Content: Your content does not contain anything illegal, harmful, offensive, or in violation of our general Terms of Use.
After you upload a new product, it will be submitted to our review team. We will review your product to ensure it complies with our policies, is accurately described, and is functional. We reserve the right to:
Approve or reject any product for any reason.
Request modifications to your product or its listing information before approval.
Remove an approved product at any time if we discover it violates our policies or receives a valid copyright complaint.
When a buyer purchases your product, they are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to use the product, not ownership of the product itself. You are responsible for clearly defining the license terms (e.g., personal use, commercial use) on each product page. You retain full ownership and copyright of your products at all times.
You grant DigiHubz a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to:
Use, display, reproduce, and promote your content on our Platform.
Use your product images, descriptions, and other listing information for marketing and promotional purposes, both on and off the Platform.
Make your products available for download to buyers who have purchased a valid license.
This license is effective as long as your product is listed on the Platform.
Our fee structure rewards successful authors with lower commission percentages. Your fee is automatically updated based on your cumulative lifetime earnings:
Default (up to ₹99 earnings): 15% fee
Level 1 (₹100+): 10% fee
Level 2 (₹1,000+): 9% fee
Level 3 (₹5,000+): 8% fee
Level 4 (₹10,000+): 7% fee
Level 5 (₹25,000+): 6% fee
Level 6 (₹45,000+): 5% fee
Level 7 (₹75,000+): 4% fee
Level 8 (₹2,50,000+): 3% fee
Level 9 (₹5,00,000+): 2% fee
Level 10 (₹10,00,000+): 1% fee
You can request to withdraw your earnings from your seller dashboard. A minimum withdrawal threshold of ₹500 applies. Payouts will be processed to your chosen payment account (e.g., PayPal or Razorpay) after your request is approved. You are responsible for providing accurate payment information and for any fees charged by the payment provider.
As an Author, you are expected to provide reasonable support to buyers for any issues related to your products (e.g., download problems, file corruption).
In case of a dispute between you and a buyer, our support team will act as a mediator. We reserve the right to review the case and may, at our sole discretion, issue a refund to the buyer. If a refund is issued, the amount will be deducted from your pending earnings. Repeated disputes or a failure to provide adequate support may lead to a review and potential suspension of your Author account.
You may terminate your Author status and remove your products from the Platform at any time from your dashboard.
We may suspend or terminate your Author status, remove your products, and freeze your earnings if you:
Violate these Author Terms, our Terms of Use, or any other policies.
Receive multiple valid copyright infringement claims.
Are involved in fraudulent or malicious activity.
Fail to provide adequate product support or resolve disputes in a timely manner.
Upon termination, any outstanding earnings will be paid out, provided they meet the minimum withdrawal threshold and there are no unresolved disputes or policy violations.
We may update these Author Terms periodically. We will notify you of any significant changes by posting the new terms on the Platform and updating the "Effective Date." Your continued use of the Platform as an Author after the changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
